Omg hi !! I can't believe I am finally doing this. I have been looking for a creative outlet and a way to share my experiences with whoever wants to listen for such a long time, so I am excited to finally have the guts to start this blog. With this post, I want to introduce myself a little bit incase some people don't really know who I am yet (even though the only people that will be reading this will be my parents so...).

*awkwardly starts writing about herself now*
My name is Sara (a little obvious with the huge banner at the top) and I will be turning 22 years old on October 23. My mom did not want me to be a Scorpio, but low and behold, I was born on the day the Scorpio horoscope starts😈. I was born in Antwerp, Belgium, meaning that I have the Belgian nationality. Fast forward 5 years, my little brother, Eli, was born. Being a happy, little, curly-haired 5 year old, finally having someone to play with at home, I was living a normal life in Belgium. Right now, I have a total of 4 brothers and 1 sister (Eli is my only sibling who I share the same mom and dad with).

In 2005, my mom married my stepdad. With this wedding, I knew I would be moving away from my hometown in Belgium and moving to the United States of America, seeing that my stepdad had a company there. By the way, I hate the word 'stepdad' to describe my dad. He is as much of a father to me as my biological dad; however, I will be using 'stepdad' here to keep it simple and understandable. Little did I know that this big move would shape me into the person that I am today.
We lived in Boston, MA for one year until we moved north to Vermont. It took me about 4-5 months to learn English and about 2 years to lose the awful accent.

Middle school was good, high school was a little less fun but whatever. Sometimes I do miss high school, but I am so happy at how different I am today. After high school, I decided to take a year "off" and study a year abroad in a French high school and live with my biological father. When this (very long) year was over, I moved back to the States to help out in my parents' business, travel around a bit, and apply to colleges for the following school year.

Because I am not American, and I do not have a green card, I can no longer live in America after I turn 21 or legally work. This made choosing where to go to college very difficult. Why would I study for 4 years in America, when after those 4 years I could not get a job in America or legally stay there?
Therefore, I decided to look for colleges in Belgium. Luckily, I found an international business program that was completely in English (I did not want to study in Dutch) in Antwerp, one of Belgium's best student cities. I was so nervous to make another huge move across the Atlantic, but wow... I am so happy I did.
Moving back to Antwerp and studying international business allowed me to meet amazing people and become more independent. I met my boyfriend Marcus and made friendships that will last a lifetime. I was so happy to be living there. During my second year in Antwerp, we had the opportunity to apply for a semester abroad for the following year; and of course, I had to choose the furthest destination...

Today, I am living and studying in Taichung, Taiwan for the upcoming 5 months. Being here has been a lot of fun so far, and I can't wait to see what I will be doing the 5 coming months (definitely a lot of traveling).

What does the future hold? No idea. I don't know if this is just me but I can't figure out what I want to do in one or two years. I guess I will have to wait and see what life throws my way...

Soooo, yeah. If you have made it this far, I hope you don't regret wasting these 5 minutes of your life reading about mine. I am eager to find out where this website takes me and excited to start allowing my creativity to create something fun (even if it is only for me).

With love,
Sara

My name is not Henni obviously, it's Yassmine. I just don't know how to use the comment section in a blog. Yes I'm a little bit stupid. Luckily I'm gorgeous.
Kiss.😘

Scorpio ain't too bad: it's deep and full of mystery. A cool ticket!

No doubt your blog can bring inspiring news. You've a candid eye! What are things like now, as you experience them in your new home?
